At Massive, we are committed to the belief that every human being should have the same value, rights, and opportunities – no matter who you love or how you identify yourself.
During the month of June, this belief led to a new exciting diversity initiative: our participation in Pride Month and Malmö Pride parade.
With a Massive rainbow logo on our social media accounts and Pride participation, we made a statement about our belief in equal value, rights, and opportunities for everyone.
Simply put, we believe that diverse teams have the possibility to make better games.

Because of this, we make sure to educate our employees and leaders in topics like unconscious bias and inclusive language to make everyone feel welcome inside our studio. We also work with organizations around us to inspire diversity and promote everyone’s equal value.
For example, our work with the non-profit organization Pink Programming includes inviting women and transgender people to workshops in game development. The intention is to inspire women and transgender people to work with game development, and ultimately increasing diversity in the studio.
We are also proud of our Diversity team – which is a group of individuals who work a little extra for diversity in our studio. The team spearheaded the Pride initiative, and has previously, worked with developing equal opportunities plans and preventive actions for harassment.
No matter who you are, where you’re from, who you love or how you identify yourself – our Massive family welcomes you with open arms.
And that’s something we are immensely proud of.
