Web Developer [Live Operations]


Are you our next Web Developer for the Online team at Massive? As a Web Developer you will be responsible for the development, enhancement, maintenance, and support of all online-based tools used for communication and customer support. You will work with the team to design, implement and ensure proper functioning of the tools. You will work in a team of highly motivated, passionate and skilled game developers to help deliver a great online experience for our players.

This is a permanent position based in Malmö, Sweden, and requires working onsite.


  • Enhancing and providing support for existing web frameworks and products
  • Collaborating with your team and managers to understand the needs and suggest enhancements by designing, implementing and optimizing new systems
  • Developing web-based software solutions and tools for the online team and customer support
  • Documenting the work in order to transfer knowledge and enable users in other working units to understand the new system and functions
You as a person
You are a proactive and autonomous person with good communication skills. You are passionate about putting your knowledge to use in understanding the issues of the production teams and propose dedicated tools that will improve the workflows, and in the end the over-all game experience. You know that the best tool will come from deep collaboration with the different teams, and know when to ask for input.


  • Good knowledge of JavaScript
  • Good knowledge of CSS3 and HTML5 technologies
  • Good knowledge of web frameworks such as Polymer, Angular or React.
  • Good knowledge of JSON, REST, WebSockets
  • Knowledge of relational database such as PgSQL
