Engine Programmer
Ubiosft Massive is recruiting an Engine Programmer with solid Console experience.
Do you have a passion for creating games? Do you have extensive experience from professional game development on PS3, Xbox 360 and maybe FPS titles? Then this position might be your new next teaser!
Your responsibility will be to solve the problems of running a high-end game within the technical constraints of the console platforms. Typically; optimizing memory utilization, moving hot-spot pieces of code to the SPUs (on the PS3), multithreading existing non-parallel code, and generally ensuring high frame rates and a smooth gaming experience while not sacrificing graphics and audio quality.

This is a full time position that requires relocation to Malmö, Sweden.
Required skills and experiences:
- Experience from working with PS3 and Xbox 360
- Excellent C/C++ programming skills
- Experience in multithreading
- Excellent understanding of CPU and GPU bottlenecks
- Excellent understanding of performance sensitive programming (algorithmic and low level optimizations)
- Good understanding of 3D math
- Experience with Direct3D and OpenGL
- Good understanding of Software Engineering principles, e.g. Object Oriented programming, etc
